Is it possible to project 150" on a 8 feet ceiling with ust projector and center channel

Can we project 150" screen on 8 feet ceiling setting? below is the answer:

Use case: Cabinets designed to accommodate UST projector and center channel:

I've got a special case where user wanted me to design a cabinet to project 150" screen with the below components and specs

Awol Visions projector
Bowers and Wilkins HTM6 S3 center channel
8 feet ceiling
Viewing distance of 8.5 feet.

After simulation we figured that for a 150" screen, we will be able to incorporate the center channel between the projector and Screen.

angled view

Side view incorporating the center channel between projector and screen.

There are few disadvantages though:

a. The gap between the image and the ceiling is close to 3 inches so there is no wiggle room to play around.
Which also means that he will not be able to place a screen as if typically the screen borders are 2-3 inches.
He may need to project on wall to achieve 150" in a 8" setup. Also with Awol's brightness and with 8.5 feet distance that may be too much for the viewer.
Even if he succeeds in placing the screen, the border of the screen will touch the ceiling, which will look odd.

b. The cabinet’s length should be long to accommodate all his devices as if we will lose lot of space due to projector angle. Only the bottom back section can be utilized for placing AVR and Other gadgets.
Also the angle of his speaker to make it to ear level is 19.04 degrees. I'll will wait for him to respond but my gut feeling is that he will not go with this and rather go with off wall cabinet.

c.I felt the sound from center speaker is coming from down and it will not please sound lovers.

Did anyone implement 150" with 8 feet ceiling with an UST projector? If so, do consider sharing your experience.

I recommend people who are not able to incorporate center channel with UST projector to join this group Ultrashort throw projector with center channel.
Lot of ideas are being floated and lot of info is scheduled to come your way.
